Kentucky's 10th House District has a choice!

Good day Citizens!

A Breck county man asked me last night to tell him, in 25 words or less, who I am. That was a stumper, I’m not usually one to limit myself to such few words. I’m glad he did, he taught me to be a better candidate. Next time I see him I will thank him.

This is what I told him: “I’m an educator, a veteran, an Independent and I am pro-labor.”

It seemed to satisfy him. He took a couple of yard signs and shook my hand.

If you’d like a yard sign, or just want to talk, feel free to give me a shout.

Cheers!

Be a Precinct Officer!

Good day Citizens!

Help Wanted: Precinct Officers!

Most of the time folks call them poll watchers, but their official title is Precinct Officer. Their duty is to make sure that we have free and fair elections. Sounds like a proud and reasonable way to me to spend election day.

State law says that every precinct has to have FOUR precinct election officers on duty during the election. That shouldn’t be hard to find, should it?

The problem is that it has ALWAYS been difficult to find enough precinct watchers. And this year is even worse. With all the talk about election fraud people are, well, frankly, afraid to serve.

It is time for us to stand proud and support our election system. Voting should be the MINIMUM thing we do during an election.

I am challenging our teachers to volunteer to be precinct officers. Schools are closed and you even get paid for it! Show your students that we mean what we say when we tell them that they must be involved in our communities.

I am running for office so I cannot serve as a precinct officer. But that can’t stop me from encouraging you to do it.

Below is the link. Check it out. And then call the county clerk and set up a training date!

Thanks for your time!

There is a choice!

We’ve all been there. In the voting booth, looking at the ballot, pondering the two choices, or, more and more often, only the one.

You’re thinking, “I wish I had a choice. I don’t like either one of these guys.”

So you take the write-in option. You write your own name. Or your Dads. Or Santa Claus.  I bet Mickey Mouse has probably received more votes, all together, than any other candidate in history.

Well 10th District, I’m asking you to write in MY name on that ballot this election day. Give Mickey Mouse a break. He’s not real.

I’m very real. And I want to serve the 10th district as Congressman.

I’d like your comments. I’d like you to share this message. And I’d like you to Write in Whipple on 8 November.

Thanks!

Well, the election is over and done, two months now. I should have posted this long ago. Congratulations Mr. Calloway, and we wish...
